My paintings and photographs come from personal memories and places or people I have found inspirational.  I try to create a visual experience that reflects my emotional response to the source of my artwork. I work with oil, oil pastels and acrylic with brushes and my hands, using bold generous strokes and a vivid palette. I combine the vitality of my own personal connection to the subject matter with an exciting and distinct perspective. My objective is to have my art convey a visual impact while exciting the mind.  Since I am quite tactile I also try to give a sense of texture, as well as color to my original, hand made glazed pottery and 3-Dimensional artwork.
